Mexican mobile entertainment provider Binbit has struck a multi-year deal with North American basketball league the NBA to distribute mobile phone content to fans in certain countries across Latin America, Europe and Asia.
Binbit will provide NBA followers with video, pictures and audio content tailored for mobile phone devices in various territories.
Binbit subscribers will also gain access to the official NBA Fan Club, which will feature other additional content such as NBA game highlights, as well as special NBA promotions and experiences.
Countries covered by the partnership include Argentina, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Thailand, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Binbit chairman Antoni Muntaner said: “The NBA is a premium brand all around the world, so considering our operational territories, this is a great opportunity for both companies.”
