North America’s National Basketball Association has said it will expand the remit of its out-of-market live game service, NBA League Pass, to allow fans to purchase single game and individual team packages from the 2015-16 season.
Consumers will be able to select stand-alone live games on any day of the regular season, while the team packages apply to all 30 NBA franchises.
NBA League Pass’ flagship full-season package, providing almost 1,000 out-of-market games and archive NBA content, will remain in place.
The new offerings will be made available by NBA Digital to broadband and mobile subscribers on iOS and Android devices. NBA League Pass is available through cable, satellite and telco distributors.
