NBA TV, the cable and satellite television broadcaster operated by the North American basketball league, has extended an agreement to broadcast the Euroleague continental club competition.
Under the agreement, NBA TV will air up to 20 games during the remainder of the 2016-17 Euroleague season.
Coverage will include regular-season matches and post-season action from the Final Four stage of the competition, which will take place over the third weekend in May at the Sinan Erdem Dome in Istanbul, Turkey.
NBA TV will broadcast a Euroleague ‘Game of the Week’, which will air each Sunday at 3pm EST. Coverage began with Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz’s 101-88 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv on January 1.
Coverage continues on January 8 with the fixture between Olympiacos Piraeus and Panathinaikos. Additional games will be announced at a further date.
The 2016-17 campaign marks the 13th consecutive season that NBA TV has broadcast the Euroleague.
