NBC smashes streaming record in Tiger Woods win

Tiger Woods’ victory at the Tour Championship this past weekend not only sent TV ratings soaring on NBC, but gave the network the most-streamed Sunday in golf history for a non-major event.

18.4 million minutes of Sunday’s final round was streamed on digital platforms a 561 per cent increase over last year’s Tour Championship. Sunday’s TV viewership of 7.2 million average viewers was up 193 per cent from the Tour Championship the previous year.

Tiger Woods and the US Ryder Cup team face the European Ryder Cup team also this weekend on NBC.
