Pay-television broadcaster NC Plus and pan-European sports broadcaster Eurosport have acquired rights in Poland to the Uefa Europa League club football tournament.
The three-year deal covers the 2015-16 to 2017-18 seasons, with NC Plus adding the Europa League to its existing contract for the Champions League.
NC Plus renewed its rights for Uefa’s premier club competition under a deal struck in June 2014 covering the same three-year window.
Under the Europa League agreement, NC Plus will reportedly offer three or four games on Thursdays, while Eurosport, which is widely available to NC Plus subscribers, will provide two matches.
