Indian pay-television broadcaster Neo Sports has acquired rights for the Coppa Italia and Coupe de France football club knockout competitions.
The rights will cover the latter stages of the 2015-16 season.
The Coppa Italia is the top knockout tournament in Italy, while the Coupe de France, the top knockout competition in France, is about to enter the semi-final stage, with Paris Saint-Germain taking on Lorient and Sochaux facing Marseille.
Speaking to Indiantelevision.com, Neo Sports executive vice-president of programming, Mautik Tolia, said: “Both the tournaments are competitive and there are quality players playing in them which is why we decided to go ahead and acquire the rights.”
