Indian pay-television broadcaster Neo Sports has acquired rights to the inaugural European Games multi-sport event, which takes place in Baku, Azerbaijan later this year.
The deal with Baku 2015’s organising committee ensures that the Games will be broadcast across India on the Neo Sports and Neo Prime channels.
Daily news and highlights of Baku 2015 competitions will be shown during prime viewing times, and the Games will be promoted through these channels and the Neo website. The opening and closing ceremonies will also be screened live.
With this agreement, the Baku 2015 European Games has now announced deals to broadcast the event, which runs from June 12-28, in 55 countries around the world.
