Australian commercial broadcaster Network Ten has acquired rights for the 2013 Champions League Twenty20 cricket competition.
The tournament, which gathers the world’s leading T20 club teams, will take place between September 17 and October 6 in India.
Ten and its digital sports channel One will screen 23 matches from September 21. All matches will also be streamed live on the broadcaster’s Tensport.com.au website.
The competition will include two direct entrants from Australia’s Big Bash League, which Ten will broadcast exclusively from the 2013-14 to 2017-18 seasons.
The Sydney Sixers won the 2012 Champions League, which took place in South Africa.
