New Zealand’s Spark lands long-term Fiba rights deal

Fiba has agreed a broadcast deal in New Zealand with telco Spark for its international basketball competitions until 2025, the latest in a series of such agreements announced this week.

The world basketball governing body said that Spark Sport has secured exclusive broadcast rights for the 2021-25 cycle, in an agreement that covers the 2023 Fiba Basketball World Cup qualifiers, which started this week.
