Newspaper group News UK has acquired the video clip rights to England national team games and FA Cup matches under a four-year deal struck with the Football Association.
The deal covers the four seasons from 2014-15 to 2017-18 and will allow News UK to show near-live clips across all its digital platforms of FA Cup matches, FA Community Shield matches and 14 England senior friendly matches.
The agreement also includes all England Under-21 and development team matches, subject to them being broadcast live.
Subscribers to the digital platforms of The Sun, The Times and The Sunday Times newspapers will be able to access the clips via their smart phone, tablets and PCs.
In January, News UK announced it had secured rights to show Premier League clips as part of a three-year deal spanning the 2013-14 to 2015-16 campaigns.
