Digital sports media company Perform Group has agreed a deal with the NFL to commercialise the American football league’s digital assets in Australia for the 2016-17 season.
The agreement will cover digital content across desktop, mobile and video platforms.
Wade Maris, vice-president for media sales at Perform, said: “This is an exciting opportunity for us to be involved with the NFL at a time when their brand continues to evolve and grow in the Australian market.”
The 2016 NFL season began yesterday (Thursday), with defending Super Bowl champion the Denver Broncos defeating the Carolina Panthers 21-20.
