Dutch public-service broadcaster NOS has acquired rights to all matches played by the men’s national football team over the next four years, the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) has announced.
NOS has secured rights to the Netherlands’ qualifying campaigns for Uefa Euro 2020 and the 2022 Fifa World Cup, along with the Nations League tournaments played over this period and all other friendly matches.
The contract will commence with the Netherlands’ friendly match against Peru on September 6.
Jean-Paul Decossaux, commercial director of the KNVB, said: “Together with Uefa, who conducted the negotiations on behalf of all European football federations, we have reached an agreement with the NOS, which we are very pleased with at the KNVB.
“Football fans in the Netherlands will be able to see all the international matches of the Dutch men in the next four years in one place. This is easy and clear.”
Commercial channel Veronica holds rights to the women’s team’s qualifying campaigns for the 2019 World Cup and 2021 European Championships, along with home friendlies.
