UK media regulator Ofcom has recommended a review into the listed events legislation.
Dame Melanie Dawes, Ofcom's chief executive, wrote a letter dated July 30 in response to Damian Green, a British member of parliament, in which she recommended an update to the existing rules that specify which sports events must be shown on free-to-air television.
