Perform strengthens South American football portfolio

Digital media company Perform acquired rights from Uruguay-based agency the Full Play Group for club football matches in Bolivia, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay and Peru in a three-and-a-half-year deal running between 2012 and 2015.

Perform acquired rights for 900 matches per year from the leagues, and other rights managed by Full Play in the Americas. Perform will be able to show the games on a worldwide basis excluding South America and selected markets.

Perform has previously acquired rights from Full Play for coverage of South American qualifying matches for the 2014 Fifa World Cup.

Perform also has rights for about 900 other domestic and international matches per year from the Americas, including the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana continental club competitions, the top domestic leagues in Brazil, Chile and Mexico, and all North American and Caribbean qualifying matches for the 2014 World Cup.
