Pitch buys worldwide rights for New Zealand Cricket

The Pitch International agency agreed an eight-year deal with New Zealand Cricket to distribute the international media rights to the home matches of the New Zealand national team from 2012-13 to 2019-20.

New Zealand will host the leading cricket nations several times during the eight-year period, including Australia and India twice each, and England three times.

The deal excludes rights in New Zealand, which New Zealand Cricket, the governing body of the sport in the country, has retained.

Pitch’s rights cover television, mobile, internet and radio.
