The Pitch International agency has reached a three-year deal with Scottish Rugby for the national rugby union governing body’s global broadcast rights.
Following its success in a tender process, Pitch is granted the exclusive rights to distribute Scotland’s home autumn Test matches in 2014, 2016 and 2017.
There are no autumn internationals scheduled for 2015 due to that year’s Rugby World Cup in England.
Dominic McKay, Scottish Rugby director of commercial operations, communications and public affairs, said: “(Pitch’s) vast expertise in the sports rights market and enthusiasm for taking Scotland games around the world impressed throughout, in what was a highly competitive tender process. This relationship will help more supporters see Scotland around the world, while also helping to further globalise the Scottish Rugby brand.”
