Premier Sports Asia adds non-rugby union rights with NRL acquisition

Subscription broadcaster Premier Sports has added rights to the National Rugby League, the pre-eminent rugby league club competition in Australia and New Zealand, to its portfolio in Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent.

Under a deal announced this morning, Premier Sports will show three matches and a highlights programme each week. Rights to the NRL Finals Series, the State of Origin Series and one live match per round from the NRL Women’s Premiership (NRLW) are also included.
