Premier Sports takes to the ice for World Cup of Hockey

UK pay-television broadcaster Premier Sports has acquired rights to the forthcoming World Cup of Hockey tournament.

The international ice hockey tournament will take place in Toronto, Canada, from September 17 to October 2. The event has returned after a 12-year hiatus and will feature eight teams, including six national teams and two representative teams.

Premier Sports will broadcast all games live from the tournament, aside from the Group B clash between Russia and Sweden on September 18 and the second semi-final on September 25, both of which will air on a delayed basis.
