German commercial broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 has acquired rights for the 2017 Telekom Cup mid-season domestic football tournament.
The competition, which will feature Bayern Munich, Borussia Mönchengladbach, host Fortuna Düsseldorf and Mainz 05, will be shown live on Sat.1.
The eighth edition of the tournament will take place on January 14, one week before the resumption of the top-tier Bundesliga, with two semi-finals and then a final taking place on the same day, with the games lasting 45 minutes each.
The tournament will also be streamed live via the Ran.de website.
