Austrian commercial broadcaster Puls 4 and online portal Sportnet.at have acquired rights to the Uefa Europa League club football competition.
The three-year deal will take in the 2015-16 to 2017-18 seasons of the secondary club tournament of European football’s governing body.
Puls 4 has secured the exclusive television rights to the competition, while Sportnet.at has acquired online and mobile rights.
In December 2013, pay-television broadcaster Sky Deutschland extended a rights deal in Austria for the Champions League from 2015-16 to 2017-18. Public-service broadcaster ORF renewed free-to-air rights for the competition, with both deals covering the same three-year period.
