Dutch commercial broadcaster RTL has extended a rights deal for the Uefa Europa League European club football competition.
The agreement will cover three seasons, from 2018-19 to 2020-21.
The rights will continue to be exploited on the RTL 7 channel and the broadcaster’s online platforms.
RTL will show live coverage of 25 matches per season, as well as highlights of all other Europa League games.
In the first 10 rounds of the tournament, two matches will be available on the same evening, with one game per Thursday evening shown thereafter for the final five rounds.
RTL 7 has shown the tournament for the past nine seasons.
RTL struck the deal with the Team Marketing agency, which brokered the deal on behalf of Uefa, football's European governing body.
Pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports has live rights in the Netherlands to all 205 Europa League matches per season, also through to 2021.
