The Russian Olympic Committee has said it will launch an online streaming channel in December.
ROC director general Vladimir Sengleev made the announcement during a meeting of the heads of the regional Olympic councils, according to state news agency Tass.
Sengleev said the “Olympic channel” will be entitled the ‘Team of Russia’.
The news comes with Russia’s participation at the 2018 winter Olympic Games still uncertain.
Following the doping scandal that has engulfed sport in the country, the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (Rusada) remains non-compliant with the World Anti-Doping Agency’s anti-doping code, while the International Olympic Committee is soon set to rule on whether Russian athletes will be able to compete in Pyeongchang.
