SBS’ Socceroos viewing figures boosted by strong OTT take-up

Australian public-service broadcaster SBS's audience figures for the Australia-Denmark match at the Fifa World Cup were boosted by a strong take-up on its OTT streaming platform.

The match drew an average of 442,000 viewers nationally on SBS's linear channel, with 176,000 viewing on SBS On Demand. SBS recorded a 74-per-cent free-to-air share in metropolitan areas, and 58.6 per cent regionally.
