French telecommunications company SFR-Numericable has struck a deal with beIN Media Group to offer bundles that include its own sports channels and the beIN Sports channels.
The bundles are available as part of Altice-owned SFR’s Box Power package for €29.99 ($33.98) per month for the first 12 months.
The SFR Sport channels, which provide coverage of football’s English Premier League, will be available on its own in the Box Starter pack from €19.99 per month.
Earlier this week, daily newspaper Les Echos reported that SFR-Numericable and beIN Media Group were in talks about a possible collaboration regarding sports output.
The report, citing unnamed sources, said that SFR-Numericable had already attempted unsuccessfully to agree deals with French pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus and telecommunications company Orange.
