US cable television broadcaster Showtime has acquired rights to British boxer Kell Brook’s IBF world welterweight title defence against Jo Jo Dan on March 28.
The fight, which will be staged in Brook’s (pictured) home city of Sheffield, England, will be shown live on Showtime Sports.
It will be followed by WBC featherweight champion Jhonny Gonzalez’s defence of his belt against Gary Russell Jr. in the main event on Showtime Championship Boxing from Las Vegas. Brook vs. Dan will also replay immediately following this bout.
Brook will make the first defence of the crown he secured from Shawn Porter in California in August, a fight that was also broadcast live on Showtime.
