Satellite Information Services, a provider of end-to-end products and services to the betting and broadcast industries, has extended its exclusive licensed betting offices rights deal with Dubai’s Meydan Racecourse for a further two years.
Under the pictures and data agreement, SIS has acquired exclusive streaming distribution rights from Meydan which will be streamed via SIS Stream for the first time.
SIS Stream is a new multi-platform service which launched out of the company’s innovation hub earlier this year. The initial SIS Stream line-up includes horse racing from Latin America, Singapore and Dubai.
Meydan joins fellow Emirati racecourse Jebel Ali in SIS’s portfolio of racing packages for both retail and online operators, which includes racing from the UK, Ireland, France, South Africa, USA, Latin America and the UAE.
Paul Witten, commercial director of SIS, said: “Streaming is set to be a game-changer for SIS in the next 12 months and we look forward to being able to bring more fantastic events such as racing from Meydan to our customers.”
