German pay-television broadcaster Sky Deutschland has acquired exclusive rights for this Saturday’s World Boxing Council middleweight title clash between champion Miguel Cotto and Daniel Geale.
The fight, which is taking place in New York, US will be shown on pay-per-view service Sky Select in the early hours of the morning of Sunday, June 7 in Germany.
An early bird offer of €12 ($12.91) is available until midday on Friday, before the price increases to €15 thereafter.
Sky Deutschland chief executive Carsten Schmidt said last month that the pay-television broadcaster has “no ambitions regarding a stronger entry in boxing” following its decision not to acquire rights to future fights featuring heavyweight world champion Wladimir Klitschko.
The May 2 world welterweight clash between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Junior was shown on Sky Select.
