Indian sports and entertainment pay-television channel Sony Six has agreed a one-year extension to its rights deal for the Caribbean Premier League Twenty20 cricket competition.
Sony Six broadcast the inaugural season of the CPL last year and returns for the 2014 edition, which commences tomorrow (Friday) and runs through August 17.
The channel will show live coverage and highlights of all 30 CPL matches.
Sony Six business head Prasana Krishnan said: “This year the matches are scheduled through Thursday to Sunday featuring some of greatest global cricketing superstars. With CPL we are confident of providing our fans with an enhanced viewing experience of this cricket series.”
