Indian sports and entertainment pay-television channel Sony Six has acquired rights for the new Champions Tennis League in India.
The length of the deal agreed with Second Serve, the company operating the tournament, has not been disclosed.
The inaugural edition of the league will take place from November 17 to 26 and will feature six city franchises across India. A total of 13 matches will take place.
Former Indian tennis star Vijay Amritraj is the chairman and managing director of Second Serve.
