German sports broadcaster Sportdigital is now available in Switzerland after Swiss cable-television operator UPC Cablecom agreed to add the pay-television channel to its broadcast offering.
UPC Cablecom has included the channel on its Comfort subscription package.
It will be initially offered in standard definition, but will be available in high definition by the end of 2013.
Sportdigital has rights for various football competitions, including the Portuguese Primeira Liga, English second-tier Championship, the League Cup tournament in England and the Argentinean Primera División.
