Italian sports broadcaster Sportitalia will relaunch on DTT in the country this (Monday) evening.
Sportitalia will start broadcasting on channel 153 at 20.00pm.
The broadcaster’s three channels, Sportitalia 1, Sportitalia 2 and news channel Sportitalia 24, closed down in October due to financial problems.
The Sportitalia channel will broadcast for 24 hours per day and will show live coverage of the Spanish ACB top-tier basketball league playoffs next weekend.
“We are free, and at a time of [economic] crisis, that is important,” said businessman Tarak Ben Ammar, which owns the channels’ frequencies.
