Canadian pay-television broadcaster Rogers Sportsnet has acquired rights for the next edition of the Ultimate Fighter mixed martial arts series, which will feature Canadian fighters for the first time.
Sportsnet acquired English-language rights in Canada for the Canada v Australia Ultimate Fighter Nations schedule in 2014, which is part of the Ultimate Fighter series.
Sportsnet struck the deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, which operates the series.
The deal covers television, online and mobile platforms.
