Streaming success prompts Foxtel to ‘explore’ IPO

The owners of Australian pay-television platform Foxtel are exploring an IPO for the business, prompted by the country's booming OTT streaming market, the Australian Financial Review has reported.

The newspaper said an IPO was not imminent, but a "feasibility study" was being conducted to see if Foxtel's recently-launched streaming services would stimulate demand from investors.
