The Lawn Tennis Association has signed a two-year agreement to make UK sports production and media company Sunset+Vine its host broadcast partner.
Sunset+Vine’s deal with the LTA covers four of the UK tennis governing body’s five annual tournaments in the build up to the Wimbledon Championships in 2015 and 2016.
The Women’s Tennis Association events in Nottingham, Birmingham and Eastbourne, along with the Association of Tennis Professionals men’s tournament in Nottingham will benefit from the production of around eight hours of daily coverage.
In total, Sunset+Vine will be responsible for producing over 170 hours of live tennis between June 11-27 this summer, repeating the same level of production, over a similar period in 2016. There will be 22 days of live broadcasts each year as part of the output.
In January, the LTA struck a three-year deal with the British Eurosport division of pan-European sports broadcaster Eurosport to show its five pre-Wimbledon grass court tournaments.
