The BBC has awarded Sunset+Vine a three-year contract for the production of the World Indoor Bowls Championships, from 2019 to 2021.
The sports production company will produce live coverage and highlights of the annual competition from its office in Glasgow. The 2019 competition begins on January 21 at the Potters Resort in Hopton-on-Sea.
Sunset+Vine has produced the last three World Championships for the BBC.
Jeff Foulser, chairman of Sunset+Vine, said of the deal: “January 2019 marks the 20th anniversary of the World Indoor Bowls Championships moving to Potters Resort in Hopton-on-Sea and we are delighted to continue producing the coverage.”
Richard Maddieson, chief executive of the World Bowls Tour, added: “Over the last few years the World Bowls Tour has worked closely with Sunset+Vine in the production of its televised Bowls Championships and we are delighted that this relationship will continue.”
