SVT deal grants Wimbledon finale free-to-air coverage in Sweden

Swedish public-service broadcaster SVT has agreed a three-year deal allowing it to televise the men’s and women’s singles finals of the Wimbledon tennis championships.

The Resume.se website said SVT agreed the deal with Nordic pay-television broadcaster C More Entertainment and the IMG agency.

The agreement will grant free-to-air coverage of the concluding games of the grand slam championship, beginning with the 2014 edition which commenced on Monday and is due to finish on the weekend of July 5-6.
