Swiss pay-television broadcaster Teleclub has acquired rights for the Uefa Champions League and Europa League European club football competitions.
The rights will cover three seasons, from 2018-19 to 2020-21.
Teleclub will provide exclusive live coverage of the tournaments, as well as highlights and archive footage.
The broadcaster noted that Champions League games will not solely be available via pay-television. Teleclub said select games, including the final, will also be broadcast on its new free-to-air channel Teleclub Zoom, which is set to launch on July 22.
In addition, Teleclub said public-service broadcaster SRG will have access to some games.
Teleclub’s parent company, CT Cinetrade, agreed the deals with Team Marketing, the sales agent representing Uefa, football’s European governing body.
