Pay-television broadcaster Ten Sports has agreed a one-year extension to its rights deal in India for the I-League, the top division of club football in the country.
The IndianTelevision.com website said Ten has struck the deal with the IMG Reliance agency, the commercial partner of the All India Football Federation. Ten has held I-League rights for 10 years, following the inception of the competition.
The agreement comes ahead of the 2015-16 I-League season, which commences on Saturday when defending champion Mohun Bagan takes on Aizawl FC in Kolkata.
The 2015-16 I-League will be broadcast live across the Ten Sports network.
