French commercial broadcaster TF1 is poised to strike a deal to increase its coverage of the Uefa Euro 2016 national team football tournament, which is taking place in France.
According to French newspaper L'Équipe, TF1 is set to acquire a package of 11 matches in a sublicensing deal with beIN Media Group, which has live rights for all matches.
The deal will be worth €25m ($27.7m), the report added, increasing TF1's total coverage during the tournament to 22 games.
TF1 already had the rights to show 11 Euro 2016 matches under a previous sublicensing deal with beIN, with fellow commercial broadcaster M6 also holding rights to 11 games.
The rights to the 22 games had been sublicensed by beIN for a total of €50m.
The latest deal means 33 games from the tournament will be available on free-to-air television in France.
