Brazilian public-service broadcaster TV Brasil has acquired rights to Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, the second division of domestic club football.
TV Brasil has sublicensed the rights from Serie B broadcast partner, media company Globo. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it will commence from the 2016 Serie B season.
The Torcedores.com website said Brazilian commercial broadcaster RedeTV will also continue to offer free-to-air coverage of Serie B games, with the league afforded a pay-television base through SporTV and Premiere.
