French-language Canadian pay-television network TVA Sports has agreed a rights deal with American football’s NFL.
Under the agreement, which runs for four seasons, from 2013-14 to 2016-17, TVA Sports will provide live coverage of 20 NFL games per year.
The deal will commence with 11 games from the league’s 2013 pre-season schedule.
From the 2014-15 season, TVA Sports will broadcast all of the main Thursday night games.
