Chilean state broadcaster TVN acquired highlights rights for the Primera División and Primera División B, the top two divisions of football in the country, according to the Cooperativa news website.
The agreement will run for three years, from 2013 to 2015.
TVN struck the deal with the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional, the national governing body and the league’s rights-holder.
TVN’s previous two-year rights deal with the governing body, from 2011 to 2012, only covered highlights of the top division.
A new feature of the partnership is that TVN will have to show at least 30 seconds of goalless draws.
