Mixed martial arts promotion the Ultimate Fighting Championship has further bolstered the content available through its digital subscription service, UFC Fight Pass, by agreeing a global partnership with Canadian series TKO MMA.
The agreement with president of Talion Sports Entertainment, and former TKO MMA promoter, Stephane Patry, adds the newly resurrected promotion to UFC Fight Pass’ growing live-event offering.
TKO MMA will debut its first live event on UFCFightPass.com with TKO 36: The Return, which will be staged in Montreal on November 4. TKO MMA will stage an additional five events in 2017, all of which will be available on UFC Fight Pass.
Formerly known as UCC, TKO MMA was a staple of Canadian MMA in the early-to-mid 2000s and helped launch the careers of the likes of Georges St-Pierre, Patrick Cote, Mark Hominick and Sam Stout, as well as current UFC light heavyweight Steve Bosse (left of picture).
Terms of the deal between the UFC and TKO MMA were not disclosed.
