The USA Today Sports Media Group and MLB Advanced Media, the interactive media and internet company of Major League Baseball, announced a joint venture to develop and produce new content and products for sports fans across all digital and mobile platforms.
The venture will be based in New York City and the first products are expected to be launched this summer.
“MLBAM has always been, and continues to be, the industry vanguard for digital and mobile product development, and we think combining their expertise with our strengths in content creation, distribution points and sponsorship solutions presents some really exciting possibilities for both of us, as well as for sports fans,” USA Today Sports Media Group president Tom Beusse said.
