French media group Vivendi has acquired an additional 10-per-cent shareholding in video-sharing website Dailymotion to increase its stake to 90 per cent.
According to French newspaper Les Échos, Vivendi paid telco Orange €27m ($30.5m) for the 10-per-cent stake.
At the end of June, Vivendi acquired an 80-per-cent stake in Dailymotion from Orange in a deal worth €217m.
Dailymotion is a partner of various sports properties worldwide including Spanish Liga football club Barcelona, the French Football Federation and English Premiership rugby union team Wasps.
