Dutch magazine Voetbal International has agreed a media partnership with the Eredivisie Media & Marketing arm of the top division of domestic football under which it will gain access to exclusive content supplied by pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports Netherlands.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but further details are set to be revealed in the coming weeks. As a media partner of EMM, VI will also gain exposure through its media platforms and in Eredivisie stadia.
Fox Sports holds broadcast rights for the Eredivisie in a 12-season deal running from 2013-14 to 2024-25.
Robert van den Ham, publisher of Voetbal International, said: “We have plans to increase our visibility in the football landscape and a partnership with the Eredivisie and Fox Sports is a logical consequence of this.”
