W-League secures domestic exposure on Fox Sports, ABC

Australian pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports and public-service broadcaster ABC have acquired rights for the W-League women’s football competition.

The deals with the Football Federation Australia governing body will cover the 2015-16 season.

Both broadcasters will show live coverage of the match of the round every Sunday afternoon, beginning on October 18.

The matches will be shown as double-headers along with the men’s A-League tournament.

Fox Sports and ABC will also broadcast the two W-League semi-finals on January 23-24 as well as the W-League 2016 Grand Final on January 31.
