The Lagardère Sports and U! Sports agencies have signed an agreement with US-based distributor Madison Communications that secures coverage in China of the 2017 World Games multi-sport event.
The agreement guarantees several partners for the World Games in China, including CCTV 5, Shanghai TV, Beijing TV, Guangdong TV, IPTV and China Mobile/MiGo.
International World Games Association chief executive Joachim Gossow said: “This is the biggest media platform the World Games has ever had in Asia. We are very pleased about the deal with Madison and with the coverage in China that will reach hundreds of millions of people.”
The 10th edition of the World Games will be held in Wroclaw, Poland, from July 20-30.
