Chinese state-owned broadcaster China Central Television has acquired exclusive rights for the inaugural 2015 European Games multi-sport event.
Under the deal, the CCTV 5 and CCTV 5 Plus sports channels will show comprehensive coverage of the event in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Live coverage will be shown of the opening and closing ceremonies, with highlights being broadcast of all 20 sports competitions.
The agreement includes internet and mobile coverage.
