US wrestling organisation WWE has expanded a rights partnership with free-to-air Filipino broadcaster 5.
The new deal, the length of which was not disclosed, will grant 5 rights to WWE’s flagship programme, Raw.
The broadcaster will show a weekly one-hour version of Raw at 10pm on Sundays, which will complement its coverage of the SmackDown programme at 8:30pm on Mondays.
WWE co-president Michelle Wilson said: “This partnership to televise Raw in addition to SmackDown allows us to expand our reach and deliver our unique blend of action-packed, family-friendly entertainment to WWE fans throughout the country.”
